Deganwy Village is a 5 minute walk. Bars, restaurants and a few shops.

Deganwy Marina – The Quay Hotel, Restaurant and Spa. It is a 4 star hotel. You can see it from the master bedroom.

The View & Minaùn are only 15 minutes drive away from eachother so both benefit from the amazing North Wales Coast and the Conwy Valley.

Conwy Town and Quay – No visit to the area is complete without a visit to Conwy. It is a World Heritage site. The combination of Castle and Town Wall makes Conwy one of Europe’s finest surviving medieval towns; The walls of Conwy are judged the finest in Britain.  Conwy has lots to offer. It’s a really lovely place. You can pay to go into the Castle or walk the walls free of charge, you can potter around the many local shops, visit the cafés and restaurants and also walk down to Conwy Quay where you can go crabbing, have your lunch or just sit and enjoy the ambience.

Look up ‘ What’s on’ in the area online, there are food festivals, Celtic fairs, Christmas fairs, pirate weekends, live music nights down in Conwy. Sometimes there are fireworks at the Castle.

Llandudno – The Victorian town of Llandudno is a 10/ 15  minute drive in the car. Again, it’s well worth a visit. It has one of the longest Victorian Piers in the UK. It has a dry ski slope, cable car which shows you the whole area, a tram which takes you up to the top of The Orme. If you don’t want to get on the tram you can drive round The Orme. It is quite simply spectacular and well worth a visit. You can see across to Anglesey and Puffin Island.  Llandudno has a large promenade. Parc Llandudno is on the outskirts of the town and has a lot of the high street chains as well as the high street. There are plenty of eateries here.

Colwyn Bay– Beautiful golden sandy beaches stretch for miles, Bryn Williams celebrity restaurant is at Porth Eirias by the beach. Eirias Park – 50 acres of beautiful parkland with Conwy’s premier leisure facility including fitness suite and swimming pool. Indoor / outdoor tennis courts, great children’s playground, sensory garden etc. Local shops & restaurants in the town including an artisian market every thirds Saturday of the month.

Betws Y Coed and Swallow Falls –  This is a magical place. In the autumn / winter it has an alpine feel and in the spring / summer it has a sense of warmth about it. Betws is the gateway to Snowdonia and again if you have time it’s well worth a visit. You can picnic, lunch, shop and stroll round this wonderful area.

Rhos On Sea – has an array of lovely individual shop, cafe’s, restaurants, harbour and beach.

Walkies  – The area has an abundance of white sandy and pebble beaches.  Mostly dog friendly except for an area in the summer months which are clearly marked & the woods next to Minaùn apartment, Vardre & Conwy mountains to name a few.

Beach life – Well we have an abundance of beaches in this part of Wales. Deganwy, Colwyn Bay, Conwy Morfa, Llandudno, Rhos On Sea, to name a few.

Adventure Junkie – If you are looking for adventure then go to Zip World. We have the longest zip wire in Europe, bouncing nets in the deep mines in Blaenau Ffestiniog and high ropes in the tree tops to name a few.  North Wales is becoming known as the extreme sport adventure area of Europe.

If you fancy a surf lesson or going surfing then visit Adventure Parc Snowdonia. They have other activities up there as well if surfing isn’t your thing. It’s worth a visit.

Children Welsh Mountain Zoo, Greenwood Forest Park, Anglesey Sea Zoo, Gypsy Wood, Pili Palas, Foel Farm, National Trust, Steam Trains, Bonkerz, swimming pools in Llandudno and Colwyn bay, paddling pools in Llandudno and Rhos on Sea, to name but a few are all great places for the kids, some are dog friendly too. There are many other places to visit and of course many walks to suit everyone including Snowdonia.

There are an abundance of eateries in the area, from fast food to fine dining.

Travel – most people visit this area by car, however both Deganwy, Colwyn Bay and Llandudno have train stations.
